Spanning 1500 acres, GoldMark Farm boasts six barns with a total of 159 stalls, a specialized therapy barn, four enclosed and covered hot walkers, two enclosed and covered round pens, twenty wash racks with hot and cold water, a six-furlong training track, twenty-seven individual paddocks, and ten large pastures. These facilities are complemented by advanced therapeutic devices such as the Cold Saltwater Spa, EquiVibe Vibration plates, and other equine technology. Paul Bulmahn’s passion for horses began in his youth, influenced by the draft horses that worked his neighbor’s land and fueled by the tales of racehorses in Walter Farley’s “The Black Stallion” series. This passion was reignited during a visit to the Maker’s Mark distillery, where Bulmahn won a grand prize to attend the 2002 Kentucky Derby.
