Setting the Gold Standard

Overview

GoldMark Farm has an EquiVibe on-premise for all our horses, handlers, and trainers.

EquiVibe is a platform that produces whole-body vibration. It is an innovative treatment of muscle vibration and stimulation that has been successful for animal therapy, health, fitness, and prevention of injuries.

Significant research has confirmed the positive effects of vibration technology for horses in therapy, competition, or training at all levels. One of the immediate effects is improved circulation of both blood and lymph. Anything that can improve circulation is of significant benefit to the equine athlete. Increased blood flow improves the tissues’ oxygenation, removes toxins and metabolic waste, and enhances the body’s ability to heal itself drug-free.

The EquiVibe is designed to increase bone density and reduce muscle soreness and inflammation. Even the healthiest animals can benefit from time on the EquiVibe vibration platform as it helps relax and build muscle and has been shown to increase energy, improve flexibility, and calm nerves.

Here are the advantages of using an EquiVibe for horses:

Muscle Relaxation:

=

EquiVibe machines can help relax and loosen a horse's muscles, reducing stiffness and soreness. This can be especially beneficial for horses involved in strenuous activities or recovering from injuries.

Increased Circulation:

=

The vibrations from an EquiVibe can stimulate blood flow, which may help improve circulation in a horse's limbs. Improved circulation can aid healing and reduce the risk of developing conditions like laminitis.

Joint Health:

Regular use of an EquiVibe may promote joint health by increasing synovial fluid production. This can help lubricate joints and reduce the risk of arthritis and other joint-related issues.

Improved Hoof Health:

Vibrations can stimulate the circulation in a horse's hooves, which may contribute to healthier feet. This can be especially important for horses prone to hoof problems.

Enhanced Rehabilitation:

EquiVibe machines are often used with other rehabilitation methods to help horses recover from injuries or surgeries. The vibrations can aid the healing process and prevent muscle atrophy during periods of reduced activity.

Relief from Pain and Discomfort:

Horses suffering from certain chronic conditions, such as osteoarthritis or navicular syndrome, may experience relief from pain and discomfort when using an EquiVibe.

Stress Reduction:

Some horses find the gentle vibrations of an EquiVibe soothing and relaxing, which can help reduce stress and anxiety.

Improved Performance:

Regular use of an EquiVibe as part of a horse's training regimen may improve performance. It can help maintain muscle tone and overall fitness.

Customizable Therapy:

EquiVibe machines typically offer adjustable settings, allowing for a customized therapy session tailored to the horse's needs.

Time and Cost Efficiency:

EquiVibe therapy can be a cost-effective and time-efficient way to provide horses with the benefits of vibration therapy compared to other manual techniques.

Our EquiVibe is always used under the guidance of a knowledgeable equine professional or veterinarian. The benefits and appropriate usage is determined based on the horse’s condition and requirements.
