The folks at GoldMark Farm in Ocala had a reason to celebrate Sunday after Moontune Missy earned her first stakes victory and her second straight win overall in the $66,750 Sometime Thing Stakes at Belmont Park.

Backtalk Gets Final Word in Tight Sanford

Favored Backtalk is undefeated in three starts after motoring home on the outside of a closely grouped field to win the $150,000 Sanford Stakes (gr. II) for 2-year-olds by a neck over Enumerate at Saratoga Race Course July 30. Goldmark Farm’s Florida-bred son of Smarty Jones now has consecutive graded stakes wins for trainer Tom Amoss. Backtalk won the Bashford Manor (gr. III) at Churchill Downs July 3.
